This talk of the wheels falling off is premature, I'm proud of the lads.... please log in to view this image
leicester haven't looked great but saints have looked pretty awful tonight, no threat up front and shaky at the back. millwall a cardiff h brum a burnley h west ham a those next 5 fixtures are tough, could see them slide out of contention for an auto if this performance is anything to go by.
Frankly both WH and Soton look shake, they are not cert's for the 2 automatic places, still all to play for. Birmingham and Cardiff look threatening though.
Agree with this. I think we're playing great football, but these 4 sides just seem more capable of scoring goals and winning games. I'm certain we could be every bit as good as them if we started finishing chances, but that's a massive if...
Or took the plunge and signed a striker capable of getting us an automatic slot? Only a week left, it does make me nervous that we haven't addressed it properly.
I think Birmingham are definitely the ones to watch, they have just come into form at the right time. On paper we should win our next two league games but as we know its not as simple as that - one game at a time, but its getting quite exciting. Incidentally my husband said he heard on the radio that the Southampton fans boo'd the team off the pitch which is pretty bad considering the season they have had so far.
