"Nigel Adkins will be appearing in the Saints Store in WestQuay this coming Wednesday 26th October at 3pm to sign autographs and speak to fans. With schools on half term this week, it promises to be a very popular event so fans are advised to arrive early." http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2491906,00.html
Just being in the prescence of the "Mighty one" will no doubt allow his positivity to rub off on us fans. No, I'm not saying we rub Lord Nigel of Adkins. Well, maybe a little bit.
Qwerty, why dont you hang around outside the shop and ask someone if you can borrow their child for 15 minutes. I am sure this will not be misunderstood in any way, and will be greeted with relief by hard pressed parents who can go and have a coffee and relax safe in the knowledge their child is meeting the true special one Mr Adkins.
Just get on bended knee. It'll knock down your height and, in any case, you should do it in the presence of Sir Nigel of Adkins anyway.
Nigel Adkins lives and does his shopping in Winchester. You might spot him if you are there at the right time, popssibly a Sunday after a match when everyone gets a day off.
I have spotted him before, I drove right past him! I think he was out walking because it was not in Winchester itself.
I've seen him midweek in Winchester too. I was going to say hello but I only had an hour on my parking, so couldn't risk it.
If you went to the signing (which I am sure is only going to happen so Adkins can reassure the fans nothing to do with merchandising!) would you get him to write down four positive points, one negative and then draw a line under it?
Perhaps I ought to go. I have a persistent bad back and I'm told if you touch the hem of his clothes, you will be cured.
