    Nice one Nige.

Because what we really need right now is a player moaning that the team are making him look "a fool".

You really should consider suing that charm school.

The problem we have now is, it's ok to badmouth your teammates.

Lazy defending is going too far, the problem has been nerves and organisation rather than laziness. We are stuck with those defenders for now and it's all very easy to sit in midfield and blame the defence for letting goals in and the forwards for not scoring. If by saying what he said he thinks all our defensive problems can be solved in time for the next fixture then he's clearly misguided.

You win and lose as a team, if NRC is embarrassed then he should leave and cancel his not insignificant paycheque.

This is one issue though that Mick McCarthy got bang on from day one.

I would have no problem with what Reo-Coker has said only for the fact that he showed no energy, effort or skill either! By all means criticise those who are under performing but only when you are over performing! <ok>

Can't agree with that. How is it helpful to say our defenders are lazy? That's not going to help us it's just divisive. It's for Mick to determine that not one player who seems to think he's too good to be in that side (none of them are).

I still fail to see apart from a couple of games that the players have shown a lack of effort, I don't think thats the problem. It's a lack confidence and nerves which are the problem like Lancs says. We defend will IMO for the majority of a match and then 1 or 2 lapses in concentration and we a make a complete pigs ear of it.

We also seems to have a lot of players who show no resiliance where when things aren't going our way they go into their shell rather than stand up to be counted. I'm not sure alot of these players can be changed, although some will gain this resiliance with experience, you get players like this in most teams but what we haven't got that others have are permanent players with this leadership and organisation in key positions on the pitch to perhaps gee up this players!!
