Nicolas Prost, son of four-time world champion Alain Prost, will soon be testing for Lotus Renault GP. Where and how soon this test will be is unclear. "Soon, somewhere in England," said Prost.

Nicolas Prost is no stranger to Renault team boss Eric Boullier. The driver drove for Team France in the A1 Grand Prix when Boullier was in charge. "The teams have said goodbye to the era of very young drivers. I hope within two or three years my Grand Prix debut"

So Renault will have Prost and Senna on their books! both whos Father/Uncle have history with Renault and Lotus <ok>

He's 29. I can't see him ever getting a drive, it seems pointless even giving him a test to me. They have Kubica and Heidfeld on their books, Petrov seemingly paying for a drive, and Grosjean and Senna in reserve. I don't understand this at all, unless they're after some form of publicity.

I agree with AbsolutelyGlorious. Whilst he may be older, and have experience elsewhere, he's not got the F1 knowledge to be able to help develop a car, and his F1 career wouldn't end up being very long. Most likely publicity, or they are about to announce Grosjean and Senna are moving elsewhere.

It would be a romantic idea (and a very foolish one in my opinion) to have a Prost/Senna driver line-up. However, although this might be appealing to sponsors and idealists, I cannot ever see it working. The reason is a simple one: Even if Prost makes it, Bruno Senna is nowhere near good enough.
