Anelka joined Chelsea in a £15m switch from Bolton in the January transfer window under Avram Grant in 2008.

At Chelsea Anelka won 1 premier league title and 2 FA Cups and also scored 59 goals in 185 appearances. Anelka was mostly deployed as a right winger at Chelsea. Anelka scored 19 premier league goals as he beat Cristiano Ronaldo in the race for the golden boot in 2008-09. And his 11 premier league goals contributed to Chelsea winning the premier league title in 2009-10 season.

    Class.

That goal against Sunderland is one of the best individual efforts I have ever seen, and to be behind the goal when it happened was even better.
