We have heard many stories and bids that were rejected in the summer..... but never £9,000,000. I hope your wife is sat on your nose Pinocchio.

Beckford is a lazy bastard with a bad attitude. I reckon Pearson will sell him

You lot seem to have turned to corner under your new manager. Whats changed, different tactics or has he just restored some confidence

Both our managers at the start of the season was pretty clueless. The difference was Keith Millen didnt waste millions and pay stupid wages.

But i think both managers now will do well. I think you will get mid table and then have a go next season and us all depends on how many players we can shift in this window

Our chairman has admitted £6m and we accepted, Nicky turned down the chance to speak to you. (£9m is bollox) Is a local reporter the same as a bullshitter up the pub?

BTW, I really wish he had gone to you for £6m!

at the time i didnt want maynard to go, just wanted him to sign a contract, but now he really is just getting on my nerves, i want him out asap, the longer hes in the team the longer pitman aint, it will be 15k off the wage bill and that can go elsewhere

If this is true, tell Pearson to come back with a 6 million offer now, the owners will think he's great saving you 3 million.

If You offered 9 million the board would of snapped your hands off, if he refused to talk they would off transfer listed him back then instead of holding out for him to sign!

Does that not tell you something?

To me, it speaks volumes, and it speaks determination to acheive at a higher level. He would have probably been offered double what he is on at the moment to play in a lets be fair, a pretty mediocre CC side.

If im honest, i do think that if we carried on our winning streak when DM first took over, NM would have signed a deal with a get out clause should a PL club come in for him. Since we have lost a few on the trot, Maynard has openly said that he hopes to play at a higher level.

Again, from a honest point of view, i really wanted Maynard to stay and i still do, but i also think (in hindsight) that we should have sold earlier.

One thing i do think about, did i want Maynard to stay coz i really wanted him here, or did i want him to stay coz i didnt want anyone else to have him....

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, should we have sold back in August? Yes, If you asked me back in August, then No!
