Scrawling through twitter and came across this: Now I'm not old enough to have seen Forster play for us (apologies if that makes anyone feel old ha), but I do remember watching games against Reading in the Championship and Brighton in L1 when he played for those clubs and quite often he was booed. Just out of interest could anyone shed some light on why Forster was so disliked after his time with us? It seems like we got good money for him at the time from what the internet tells me but did he leave too soon? Kick up a fuss? Anyone got any ideas at all?
Not 100% sure but definitely to do with leaving. We thought should of been more loyal to us. Similar to Asaba when he left. Both did very well at Gills and say good things about the club. It is funny though as Taylor left before Asaba but regarded as a hero.
