Good article from Ajose. I like him describing Russell Slade's football as minging. He is less than complimentary about Robinson. http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/...xile-and-is-now-loving-life-under-lee-bowyer/
I loved his follow on comment Ajose, 26, added: “Even when I first signed for Charlton, the brand of football under Russell was minging. I think everyone knows that it didn't suit me, it didn't suit anyone to be honest. and no he didn't like El Gobbo did he.
Contrary to what he claims, Ajose could have worked a lot harder at times. Having sat near him on a train from an away game last season I would also say he is a Big Time Charlie with the attitude of a street kid. Three games where you run about a lot is just a start.
Ajose's criticism of Russell Slade and Karl Robinson would seem to be justified by their records as Charlton managers. If Lee Bowyer can get Ajose's boots to do the talking on the pitch in future, good things will follow.
Ajose back to being a waste of space yesterday. He lacks pace - Scunny’s balding No23 outran him for the ball. The weakest part of Ajose’s game is his first touch & control, at least 5 times in the first half the ball bounced off him or he gave it away. Slade did our money there if we really paid the £600,000 for him. He is sh1t.
Of course football is a team game, but Ajose cannot have got lucky with his 25 goals for Swindon. It is very frustrating that we bought a player with that record and it goes wrong.
Penalties and tap ins for Swindon. We get about 1 penalty per season, and we don't create tap in goals.
