I said some time ago on here that I thought this would be a good signing for us, and at 10 million I wouldnt be complaining. No quotes or anything in this article and could easily be fake, but if it were to be true I think this would be a good piece of business from the club, big, strong player, good in the air and has a good scoring record, given a run of proper first team football and he could turn into a very good player, what do we reckon then?

45 goals in 140 games, (69 have been subs) not bad for someone whos chances have been limited.

If he stops with the I love myself attitude then yes, if not then no, we don't want someone thinking he's bigger than the club.

I'd rather have a lap dance off Steve Bruce.

Bendtner's terrible. £10m!! Is this a wind up? I wouldn't mind if it was just a million maybe, but £10m. Are you his mother or something?

Seems to get goals when he gets a game for the Arse and may do even better as a first team regular but as stated above sometimes finds it difficult to find the goal with his head so far up his own arse.

Every player makes the odd mistake at some point, even world class ones.

He's a funny un like but I tihnk he's a good player. There's others I'd rather have but he's still a good shout. Demba Ba is the one I wanted but his knee seems to be buggared, hence failed medicals. I'd like to see Lukaku or Cavani but we're not in with a shout of them unless we qualify for Europe.

He's better than Crouch or Cole but still wouldn't be my choice. £10m is too much for him as well. Judging by his attitude I doubt he would want to come to us anyway and would prefer to go to another champions league challenging club.

I'm also hoping that the clubs of the world don't use the media to determine player prices coz according to the media we seem to be willing to pay mega-money for any old ****e!

What we have to remember here is that we are probably not particulary a big attractive prospect anymore to players when they look at whats happened here over the last few years, we are not the team we once were who challenged year in, year out for a champions league spot, I'm not saying Bendtner is world class or anything but really can you think of anyone with prem experience whos any better who we could realistically get? Because I cant. No guarantees we will get Bendtner either mind.

I personally think Bendtner would be a quality signing. I think he is too pressured at Arsenal who are begging for success and that has showed in his play. We know he can play but he's not doing in on a consistent level so if we got him, that pressure would ease slightly and maybe he might pick up his game. Compared to the rest of the strikers floating around in the prem, he's one of the better and possible options. £10m is about fair I reckon and I would be happy to see him here.

If not Bendtner, then who? Cole? Heskey?

I think there are better options throughout Europe for less than the purported £10 million.

Yes but he's no where near World Class, the guy's not good enough except when he plays against us.

Albin is more a support striker is he not? A Kaka-type player I believe - not in the same league but similar position.
