Yes, I got to know him recently.

He's involved with the Andy Dawson Testimonial.

Well he was, he can't be any more on account of being a club employee.

This was a very well kept secret. I wonder why

    Not really.

He watches City from time to time but I think he's a Norwich fan first and foremost.

news international background, media oriented through his career

an 'intensive' local networker who is never short of a local function to be seen at. all the initial signs look promising. on the negative side - he was employed by hull telephones. positive - he saw sense to get out a few months ago when he smelt the coffee!!!

Hopefully he can advise Allam Snr about PR... someone needs to.. read pre season views of NPC Clubs on BBC website - ours was done by Burnsey and his only worry was the unpredictabilty of the Owners.. seems he was right to be concerned..

Burnsey just doesn't like the fact that the Allams thinks he's a twat!

He's not wrong though is he? They're completely unpredictable. In some ways it's good that they're so unpredictable, if we get our way regarding the stadium or if they have the balls to move us (which I believe they will if it comes to it) they'll have done brilliantly on that front.

I think this stadium at melton could be more realistic financially than we are giving Mr Allam credit for. Reasons: 1) Tescos recently dropped their plans to build a big store up the road just off the A63 at Elloughton/Brough turn off. Big potential funding at Melton - Ker-chinggg; 2) Sport England support. Could be minor funding but still Ker-ching; 3) Bannatines or similar - Ker-ching; 4) Some kind of funding out of the safe standing initiative - Ker-ching; 5) Full East Riding County County support, financial or other - Kerching; 6) Premier League income streams - Kerching; 7) The Allams themselves - Minor Ker-ching by comparison!!!
