Good point. What on Earth would Arsenal do with a young and extremely talented English player with bags of potential? Far rather the next big foreign underweight attacking midfielder.
Because you know Arsenal ruined SJW19, TheOx, and Theo right? Not to mention we have Gibbs, White Cafu and other English talents.
I'm well aware some of the English players you've snaffled up over the years have done ok, though I'd question whether Walcott has been able to fulfil his potential. I was questioning the OP actually being happy that Arsenal haven't signed a kid who has been a massive hit at 18 in League Two and looks the whole package rather than being a lightweight tippy-tapper foreigner who needs to develop a lot more physically and probably never will which the academy tends to produce.
If he was signing for you, you would be saying he would be a great signing but your saying he's crap, he'll be an England international this time next year.
I for one would have been happy had we got him matth but i can assure you majority of arsenal supporters have unfortunately had enough of youbg talent though i feel its something which merits consistent investment.
As a Shrewsbury fan, I've seen him play a few times, more than can be said for you clearly. That is bollocks. Personally, I think he will do alright, but not be amazing like a lot of people seem to be expecting him to.
