Nick Powell is 18 and apparently Utd, Arsenal and several other prem. clubs are looking at him. He is rated as an attacking midfielder and has scored a good goal in the play offs today. We used to have some sort of tie up with Crewe when O'Grady was their manager. Do we still have this link? if so has anyone heard of us being interested.. could be the next Stevie G.

We did sign a player from Crewe about a month ago... http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17755809 (Hopefully he'll be as successful like the last couple of players to come from Crewe!) Powell has been talked up as the next big thing to come from their academy. Been heavily linked with United in recent weeks but I haven't seen anything linking us with him lately. Expect a transfer scramble to begin when the window opens for him!
Next Stevie G? We already have Shelvey, Henderson and have been linke with Elm. I dont thin we need another youngster for that position.
