I re-read that again recently and I too was taken by how true it rings. John really does understand the club and Gasheads - we're lucky to have him....he was hours away from working with Argyle.
I have nothing against Plymouth and I hope they stay up because they could have got funny about Ward joining us as Ward agreed to join them. He spoke to them and they gave him the ok. Imagine how they would feel if they go down and seeing how well we done with Ward. So fair shout to them too.
True - we haven't had the Green Army on here all full of sour grapes. Fair play to them - I hope they stay up because they've endured a torrid time recently, and they're fellow Westcountrymen, even if they do refer to us as 'Dirty Northern Bastards'!
