If Tottenham and Arsenal are our biggest rivals for it.

And we are level with Chelsea on points for third to.

I know its early days, but weekends like this can make a big difference at any stage of the season.

Far too early days - but hopefully its crushed the morale in both sides, destabilised the management which may make them make bad decisions under pressure, and made any prospective decent signings they were going to make in the next few days think twice before signing...

Harry Redknapp has no class, he is more concerned about getting his melted candle face in the media at every opportunity than his own squad. No doubt we will be seeing his ugly mug in the driver's window of his car outside the training ground splurting out a load of crap about players that he wants...but can't get. Bye bye Spurs, you enjoyed your one season in the CL but now you are back to where you belong...8th at best.

Its early days but it is encouraging.
Changing the subject, Roy Hodgson it seems is starting this season like he started last season, 3 games in and the team he's managing has no points from 3 games, he managed 2 points from 3 games last season.

To be fair to Roy, he did have United and Chelsea in his first two games and West Brom played well. Conceded a last-minute goal against Stoke. Still think he's a good manager and he'll see West Brom safe for another season.

In fairness to WBA though, they gave Manure and Chelsea a good game.
