Our new superstar signings are setting the world alight, LMFAO!!!!
One clueless manager after another, when is this gonna end? Hey Warky, still think that these below average strikers MM signed are the dogs? Fecking useless, the new manager revival soon died a death, as expected!!

tbh spanish, i would have these guys who could improve rather than some over the hill player using us to top up their pension.
yes todays result wasn't great, but at least there is glimmers of light showing.

Don’t worry Spanish – Mick’ll keep us up this season and improve us after that.

He inherited an absolute shambles of a squad that even with eight panic-loans/short-term signings lacked cover in some areas.

It’s a testament to the hopelessness of our previous two managers (wasn’t a fan of the one before that either, but I can’t blame him for the post-Marcus Evans shambles) that MM and TC are struggling to make sense of the garbage they were left with.

We just have to be thankful that our club has the reputation to get people capable getting us out of the current situation.

It’s not Micks fault the likes of Keono spent 1.7M and gave a four-year contract to someone that has to spend most of his time on loan and can’t hit an open goal three yards, for example.

I'm with Spanish on this one, there is no such thing as a slow burner in football. It doesn't mean the whole team is useless but the new players are cack.

Isn't it funny Spanish that during the first 15 games of Mick's reign when we were winning games you never made a single post on this board! I bet you couldn't wait to post after today's result <ok> It was never going to be easy for any manager to come in and sort out the absolute ****ing mess that Jewell and Keane had left this club in and I suspect that it will go right to the wire this season.

The one good thing to look forward to is when we do start winning again we wont be treated to any of your negative garbage on here!

Hampy, I would ask what do you base that comment on, after all you are far from a regular home or away.! <ok>

I am far from convinced by Mclean, we don't need him.
We have only seen very brief glimpses of Nouble, no way we can judge yet if it is a good or poor signing.
As for McGoldrick each time I have seen him I think he has done well, listened today & by all accounts he played well again, none of the sitters fell to him.
Kisnorbo did well in his one game v Villa.

Now, now. Let's not get personal, but, we are well and truly back in the ****. We are in a better position than we were a few months ago but we're a long way from safe on this run of form.

I can't discern who's performing and not Hoppers, I make no claim to.

Four wins in six in December, no wins in five in January. Pretty stark contrast. The new signings are not working, that's pretty clear <ok>

At least i am consistant Warky, how much negative garbage of yours did everyone have to put up with over the last few years? I know that when a new boss comes in you normally get a reaction andi was waiting for things to settle, saying that i did comment on MM signing if DM and AM and said i thought they were poor, i still stand by that and cant see anything to change my mind!! You Warky were raving about them, still feel the same? Course you do, lol

I shall leave it at that for now or else it will turn into a slanging match and thats partly why i have stayed away recently, cant be arsed with jwm and wcp's abuse. Will be back in a few weeks when hopefully things have improved and we are not loaded with loans again but...........

Actually Hoppers, I'm doing myself a disservice. I do know McGoldrick and I do know the majority of our squad, just not McLean.

McGoldrick has 0 goals in 3. He scored 16 in 22 at Coventry.

Allow me to restate my earlier comment, there is no such thing as a slow burner in football. <ok>

McGoldrick has had **** all service from midfield so lets put things into context shall we! <ok> If you don't supply the ammo your hardly likely to score!

Same ammo that Campbell converted week in, week out, or do you think the difference is NRC?

NRC.....don't even go there Hampy, we are well rid & you know it.!

All of our "easy" chances today fell to either Murphy or Martin.....You need to start judging McGoldrick in 2-3 months time, not after 2-3 games.....

I like McGoldrick, he's a good footballer but to me he's another Stead (ironically) decent all round player but he doesn't really fit into a particular style he's not a big man striker like Lee and he's not a goalscorer and neither is he overly creative like a Pablo!! I doubt he'll score alot of goals. He like stead doesn't get into the positions for the tap ins or really attack the ball when it comes in the box, for me he's the type of player to score alot of spectacular goals but he's not the goal getter. Infact to me Chopra is the only player in our squad who looks like he could score 20 goals in a season at this level!!
