Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand says Manchester City fans have come "out of the woodwork". City are a point behind Premier League leaders United with nine games to play. Mainly cos we had lots of supporters before we were successful. Like in 1974/75, when we were in the second division but with the highest average attendance in the country. The glory hunters just added to our massive fan base, they didn't create it And even with City top of the league they still couldn't sell their stadium out consistently...
