Just seen the news on the tv of that Niall Quinn hosted a Q+A session with the fans, looking smooth and as much as I dont like to admit... respectable.

Now compare that to wor bloke who hasnt spoke a true word to the fans, whether face to face or the normal weekly newsletter.

It makes me sick that for once, they may one over us when it comes to the better owners...

He hasnt even been directly quoted for years, if karma is how the world works we're in for a hell of an owner soon after Ashley's painful death.

Just as a postscript to my comment how often do you see the actual owners of most clubs dealing with the media let alone fans, pretty sure Ellis Short at that place with no name, Randy Lerner, Roman Abramovitch, the Glazers and so on avoid contact.

I do like Quinn, but I do wish he would shut the **** up about his ****ty attendances.

 

Can't argue Quinny does come across well and has a good level of communication, but do you not think the reason fat mike doesn't bother telling people what he is doing is because everytime something was released to the press it got twisted around a blown out of context.

So I get the impression he's thought bollocks to it, I've my plan that we are working to and I don't need to try and bother with the press cause they are all ****s.

Example he released a statement about the finances (can't remember the exact wording) but basically meant we wouldn't be buying players on the never never, the press and everyone else took it as the club won't be spending ANY money and the usual hate campaign started. Turned out we are buying players!!!!!

 

Strictly speaking Quinn is Chief exec not owner so we should be comparing him to Lambi-arse not the Pie Man . . . . . . so that makes it all better.
