The European Golf Tour arrives back in Europe for the first time this year and goes to Spain, and in particular, Cadiz in Southern Spain. This course is situated right next to one of the most famous courses you will know, Valderama, where Monty conceded his put to win the 1997 Ryder Cup. That was then, this is now, and we don't have Monty prowling around the course but we do have a good strong field for the first edition on this golf course for the EGT... As this is the first time that they have staged a full Tour event here you havnt much to go on in terms of who plays well here or what type of player to pick. But here are my two picks... Shane Lowry @ 40/1... Oliver Fisher @ 45/1... Done in £2.50 e/w's... PadPow pays 1/4 odds top 6...
Simon Dyson 25-1 Ever since his DQ & subsequent media outrage i thought i would stick with him in the hope he can bounce back....still waiting!!
Well, Fisher is sitting pretty at -1, only 2 shots behind the leader Jack Doherty, but Shane is getting the plane home soon so he can watch the Grand National at home... He's +9...!!! Unfortunately for you Smokin, Dyson has no suck left and has retired...
Hadnt seen this thread. Im on Crespi at 125/1. Looked very good after 8 yesterday, top by two, then dropped 4 shots in 4 holes :-(
Oliver Fisher nearly got me some e/w money back, but alas, he came up short... Nevermind, we move on to the next one...
Jeff my man, I missed this earlier... Great win and pick... And at a great price... Superb Stuff sir...!!!
Cheers all, doing well in the smaller events (at significantly smaller stakes!)... Can't pick my nose in the PGA Tour events when the real money is down!
