Did anybody see the BBC programme on drugs in Athletics last night? Very worrying how it appears to still be so easy to get away with taking drugs. I know in programmes like this you have to question everything as it is only one side of the story so comes across slightly bias, but when you actually have ex top athletes giving interviews and the Nike Scientist who quit giving an interview you have to worry! The fact they were showing a copy of Galen Rupp's medical report means they must be very confident otherwise they would be sued for millions! The most worrying aspect of it all was the fact that the reporter micro dosed himself with EPO saw his performance increase by 7% almost instantly and the latest drug catching techniques didn't show anything! Alan Wells, Rupp and Salazar now have massive question marks that need addressing more than a statement just saying " it's all rubbish" And what about the Elephant in the room Mo Farah, he is part of the Nike Oregon Team which seems to be central to this documentary, although I really hope he is clean this documentary raised alarm bells of a comment long forgotten by a very good friend of mine ( a very decent marathon runner) that for a top athlete Farah does have a history of pulling out of events at very short notice!
