If this is correct RM must be fairly confident Tevez is on his way.

Manchester City has reportedly entered the race for Brazilian striker Neymar according to “The Mail”. Neymar was a sure target for Real Madrid and everybody expected the talented youngster to join the Spanish giants, but now that Roberto Mancini has entered the bidding he is much more likely to end up at the Eastlands.
Real submitted a fee of €50 million for Neymar, a huge fee for most clubs, but City isn’t just any club and they might be able to offer even more than that if they really want the player to come.

Neymar stunned the football world at only 19 years old, and at such a fragile age he is now one of the most wanted players in worldwide football. He managed to score 71 goals in 148 games for Santos where he made his debut in 2009 when he was only 17.

It doses look like Carlos is on his way back to S. America. However the reputed £50 million that the transfer is alleged to cost is a big risk for such a young lad. if he becomes homesick after the 1st couple of months, the club may struggle to get there money back for the player.

We need to be looking for talent near to home and be scourring the country for English based talent, if we are ever going to comply with all the rules and regs from U.E.F.A.. There would be nothing better for the club if in the next 5 yrs at least 1/4 of the squad came through our academy.
