IMO We NEEED two of those players to keep up this season, City, Liverpool and United have all made big signings, and by the look of Aguero last night, he's going to be a dangerous player! I pray to God we get Neymar and Modric/Nasri!!
I wouldn't disagree but I can't see any of these deals happening in the next 2 weeks. Spurs seem intent on keeping Modric, we dont seem to be even in for Nasri who looks City bound and Neymar seems like he's happy where he is for now (and I'm sure Madrid will have him when he wants to move). We are definitely in danger of getting left behind if we dont make 1 or 2 big signings (and whats happening with Lukaku?!?!)
yeah unfortunately you are probably right. I just saw in BBC gossip we are rumoured to be going for Raul Meireles! Who I do not rate. No idea what's going on with Lukaku either, Buck and Gourlay are about as useful as a bog brush when it comes to deals, no doubt we'll get somebody in the final hour of the transfer window as per usual.
im sure we will make a last gasp bid for modric. I think we will be leaving our big transfers to the very end as AVB has said he wants 2 more players in.
Well I think that rumour emerged from Di Matteo being spotted watching Germany vs Brazil over in Stuttgart. I personally think he was watching our own players but you never know. I can't see he him coming but I really would love him to.
I agree with Drogs, i think Bobby was just checking on our lot rather than watching Neymar...that's the scouts job. Classic lazy journos!! Re Lukaku, I understand he has been staying at the posh hotel at Chelsea Wharf the last few days as a friend of mine was speaking to the doorman there who confirmed it. Presumably therefore they are just ironing out some issues, I'm sure this will go through soon.
