Coulthirst has scored the perfect hat-trick. One with his left, one with his right and a header.

A great send off for Alex Inglethorpe before he departs. Let's hope everyone was properly registered !!!!

Barcelona just pulled one back. 4-1, but can't be too long left as it kicked off 4.45 our time.

Just come here to apologise (as I have to JA606) for not realising the
game was on. I reckon I could have found a live stream like I did for
the Inter away game last season (sorry) .

"Let's hope everyone was properly registered !!!"

    OI, SUNSHINE !!! :)

But Coulthirst has obviously decided to repay the utter ****e in
    front of goal against Wolfsburg.

    Game over. 4-1.
A surprise result, especially going 4-0 up and it makes all the difference to our probable progress.
Puts us level with Barca, by my reckoning.

Anyone fancy Celtic to match this result tonight against Barca's first team?

25% of the way there PNP as Celtic have just taken the lead. Great header. 21 minutes gone.

He's taking over as Liverpool Reserve Team Coach, apparently.
Nothing officially announced yet, but SC mentioned it the other day and I've seen it mentioned on some Liverpool sites, when I checked around.

Well done to the team, it seems we have a great prospect in Pritchard.

Maybe he can get minutes in soon for the first team, there's definitely room for a player of his qualities. I see he was previously at West Ham, what a coup that would be for us over the self-styled 'Academy of Football' if he makes it big for us.

According to the Twitter updates during the game, it was a perfect hat trick too.

Pritchard really needs to get a promotion into the first team now. He's a cut above his current level, surely either a loan or give him some cup games to test him out at a level that can challenge him now. Really is a little gem of a player. I'm as excitied as I am about him than when I was 4 years back about Caulker.

Yep SOS, I'd have preferred to see him tonight instead of a few of our players who will be in the 18, including Carroll and Falque. He looks a cut above both of them, from the little I've seen of all three.

City's not the game to debut him, but games like Maribor and Wigan at home would be perfect, IMHO.

Maybe he can get some game time/a start v Pana.

I was going to ask about this Pritchard guy earlier today and then saw this thread so I thought I'd comment here instead. He seems to be the real deal if you go by the match reports I see and the info you get from the Official Twitter account. Anyone got any ideas on how long it might be until we realistically see him around the first team, he's only 19 but if you're good enough then you're old enough I guess. Caulker is only 20 and he (to me anyway) looks like he's been around for ages, and Rose was about 20 when he scored that goal against Arsenal.

I always felt the "perfect hattrick" should be 4 goals :D

Great result and a good way to react after the disappointment of 2 draws on the trot.

I'm not going to ask what you think the 4th should be scored with...

Seems to be highly rated by the staff and he's been playing regularly for both the U19s/Nextgen and U21s/Reserves, so you never know.
Luongo seems to have made a similar impact last season and then been loaned out though, so we might see the same thing happen to Pritchard.

Hi TH - according to the OS, he's 19 and a half which is plenty old enough to be playing first team football

Hoddle had certainly debuted by then, and the game was a lot more physical then. He'd already scored at least one of his specials indeed, v Shilton in his prime no less, ping from outside the box IIRC.

Pritchard has the sort of skills we are crying out for ATM, I'd love to see him in the first team soon. I bet he'd love to play in the Arsenal game, but probably that is too big an ask.
