Huckerby was quoted on Twitter saying they looked on summer holiday mode already recently. Lets hope we can finish the job, Blackburn away is no given. Come on you blues!
Hopefully Antonio doesn't play, as he's single handedly running that team. Don't think we'll win, but think that Brentford and Wolves may also screw it up.
Difficult game to predict, depends on which florist turns up, the fluent, flair florists of earlier in season with nowt to play for and we draw 2-2 at best. Or demob happy, scrappy and we do actually field the team we all love to see and get at them and thrash the pansies! 3-0.
This is a must-win game, I think we all know that. We knew the potential importance this game would have two or three months ago. Thankfully, we've maintained our three point lead over Wolves and Brentford, so realistically, with our goal difference, a win against Forest should result in play off football next month. Derby are away at Millwall and Wolves away at Wigan, both those sides are in the bottom three and fighting against relegation, so hopefully they'll be up for it at their place. Brentford are away at Reading, a side who almost made the FA Cup final and are playing midweek, so part of me doubts Reading will have the stamina and arguably the focus. I'll predict a narrow 2-1 win for us. We benefit in that Forest are not playing for anything and are in indifferent form since Freedman took over. Say what you like about this side, but they don't lack passion, and hopefully that will to win will push us over the line.
Fancy us to win this and cement our spot - hope so too as Blackburn away is very possible to balls it up ( just got Blackburn ticket today ) For what it's worth, I don't think Wolves and Brentford will win both of their final games. 2-0 town.
I hope we win 3-0 and go into the final game with a healthy goal difference. I suspect it will be a draw and Wolves and Brentford will both win to take it to the last day. It's just the way we do it.
Well Brentford don't have an easy tie at Reading, if the Royals could do us a favour that would be great! Nervous but ever hopeful about this fixture - depends what Forest turn up.
Should be a cracking atmosphere, SBR lower virtually sold out, same as SAR. not many in the upper tiers either so let's rock Portman road and help the boys out.
Sell outs often do the opposite, create pants atmospheres. Atmosphere wise, 16,000 on a Tuesday night would probably be better than a lot of family daytrippers! That said, happy to see fans coming back. Heard a rumour if we make playoffs would be cheap tickets for that too!
yeah, heard that too, something like £10 for season ticket holders/Members and grade C prices for the rest.
I've been to Portman Road three times ever. 3-2 win vs Derby 04/05 ( class match ) 1-0 win v Cardiff 05/06 and 2-1 win v Norwich 07/08. Worked out I've been to my most games in a season ever though, 11 away days this season. Streamed some/watched a couple on the box too. Must have seen 20 odd games this season. I'll be there should we make it.....
A lot of the casuals turning up for this game brings in some much needed ££££ for the club. 22,500 sold so far, more like it. I guess our average gate must be 18,000 this season, so 4500 x 20 ( taking into account kids etc ) brings in £90,000. Then when you consider the spend, food drinks etc that'll happen it'll pay for some weekly wages. Noice. I really hope we can get over the line here. Blackburn away has the hallmarks of hell. The Jordan Rhodes factor. A very good home side Blackburn vs a side in us that have wobbled at times on the road. That said, we've beaten Watford away, drawn at Wolves/ Derby/ and Bournemouth too. Really looking forward to Saturday!
Be good if there is. Quite a big rumour Forest may well be bedding in quite a few of the kids for this fixture - their season is over. A bit similar to us at Derby the year we smashed them 4-1 away!? Hope we stick to what we're good at.
Playing kids can go either way. But we have the presence and desire - not forgetting the youth of our own in Bishop and Mings - to give any new florist blood a rough introduction to championship football. 2-0 Ipswich Murph and Chambers
