First of all - I'm going to make it clear I couldn't care less how we played vs Blackpool. That may sound however, but it's a results business, and it's very much business end. Three points were vital after Huddersfield. Did we bounce back? We did!

Birmingham - Take a bow. Thank you!

Brentford and Derby - thank you very much for drawing.

With FOUR games to go, we're back in the top 6. This now has NOT happened since 04/05. 07/08 we flirted with the play offs like last season, but were not in this position.

Mick HAS done a very good job this season. Sure, we've wobbled.................. we've flown................ and yeah. But we'd have all taken this position in August. We wouldn't have in January granted.

Anyway onto Cardiff - tough game this. Sure, their season on paper is over which is a big help. However, unfortunately they are unbeaten in 7 on their travels. We'll need to be at our best to take them to the sword. They have a very capable squad. Fabio/Whittingham/Macheda all stand out - and perhaps will be a top 6 outfit next season.

Can we beat them? Fortunately, should we not Wolves are away at Boro which isn't a walk in the park. Brentford have a more winnable game but are wobbling at home.

    COYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's true, Cardiff have been decent on their travels recently. However we always seem to do well on a Tuesday night at home.

I can see a nervy 2-1 Sears and Williams. If we can win this one a point at Wolves would be a decent return.

I think Saturdays game will give the boys a bit of belief that when they are up against it they have got enough to grind something out.

    2-1
    town, Skuse and wood.

The only thing loose around here is Warky's Mrs Knickers, which is the polar opposite to him because, by all accounts, he is as tight as a bulls arse in June!!

Why do you think bulls run so bloody fast in Pamplona? :)

    Anyhow, moo-ving on...

2-1 to us - Smurph and Sears, with an 80th minute "ohshitohshitpleaseholdonpleaseohshitohshit" comeback from Whittingham.

They haven't banned bullfighting in your region have they Spanish?! The prospect of Warky chasing his missus in taffeta and stringy knickers, with horns and trumpets blaring, with a horny Bull in hot pursuit, fills me with joy and mirth!!

I'm cautiously optimistic for tonight. I'd take a slender win, just by a goal, so a 2-1 or 1-0 would be fine.
