Strange how the fixture throw up a sequence of games like these three. If we win each one it is possible that in each game we will play a team above us at kick off and end the game one place above them. Just an observation, but it is possible and if we do we will be either 9th or 8th depending on Evertons results. We can do it, but will we?
if we work hard for 90 mins in each game and take our chances we will have 9 pts, as player for player, we re better than these teams imo
Hmmm, tend to agree with this: "The Swans have only managed one victory on the road this season and have conceded 19 goals in the process averaging almost 2 goals a game, the rejuvenated Sunderland and McClean could pay serious dividends this weekend." Thinking McClean bags a brace and Mig gets an easy clean sheet. Don't give up on your season tho, still plenty of time. good luck anyway...
Definitely a hard game but, a 1-3 defeat is not one I would have predicted. 1-2 is possible but, with Swansea being crap away from home and us playing a lot better under MON at home I'll go for a very tight game and a 1-0 win for us with Sess getting the all important goal. Norwich will be a similar game and I reckon a draw there 1-1, 2-2. Stoke away from home is usually a home banker for them not sure why but , we always seem to share the points with them so going for a defeat there. Arsenal at SOL they hate coming up here as we tend to beat them usually by the single goal. Hoping for 7 points from those 4 games but, in reality would not be too sad or depressed if we only got 4.
I bet Mon is targeting 4 wins in the next 4 games. We are a far better team today than ever we were under Bruce. With better finishing, we could have beaten Chelsea last weekend away from home. I fancy us in all the next 4 games tbh. 9 points and into the 5th round of the cup. Haway the lads.
Got off that cloud Cest it's been a month now. You reckon it's the MON effect or the new manager effect mate? I'm going for MON even though I didn't think he would come to us still the last month has been a lot better than the last 6 months with you know who.
Every time we've been at this point in the last 2-3 seasons I've been gutted by disappointment -and typified by the Wigan-Wolves-Fulham fiasco earlier this season. So, I won't do any more than take one game at a time, though I'm far more positive and generally optimistic with Marty at the helm.
well its nice to be right. Now for the next three Stoke Away Arsenal at Home WBA Away I would be happy with 5 points from these game but 7 would be nice. The key game must be Arsenal, that has to be targeted for a win if we are to try and catch them. (I can not belive that I just said that!)
