As it stands we'll have 4 players contracted next August, the 2 new signings, Pearce and Sarr ... will there be a lot of contract discussions this year?

A few weeks ago there was some talk about a few players being offered contract extensions (Tarique Fosu was one of them I think) but nothing seems to have come of it yet.
This contract situation is a nasty time-bomb. If the current take-over bid falls through and nobody else buys the Club by the spring of 2019, next summer could see a melt-down of Charlton's squad that makes this summer look like a roaring success.

I doubt that Charlton will be relegated this coming season - I would predict a 9th to 12th place finish at the moment - but if RD is still Charlton's owner at the end of it, then it is very likely CAFC will be relegated to League Two in season 2019-20.

All the whilst Dushitelet is trying to flog Charlton I'll be amazed if there is any movement on players contracts.

We are aiming to become the first Zero Contract club in the football league.

If the Belgian tit stays, it will happen.
