I long to have a season of the away kit being based on the blue/orange/white away kit of the early nineties...

one thing i cannot understand is why teams play in the away kit when it doesn't clash with home side - is it a rule they have to?

I like the orange away strip - keep it. New home kit should be brown shirts and purple shorts. <ok>

Agree with Swantastic. White is our traditional colour (Swans innit?). Away kit for me would be black tops (maybe with a splash of white), white shorts and socks.

Aswan: Perhaps yellow as it's 'bright and cheery'? <laugh>

Black can look really cool imo and is far more in keeping with the 'Swans' theme. Last time I saw an orange Swan I was walking home to my place in the Marina after a night out on Wind Street.

We look like Holland in the orange kit, though we play better than Holland, but I'd like us to go close as possible to the Barca kit, not only would that windup the media, but hell it would really get to those Bluetits up the road, by the way that reminds me I must get back to my Charity work, au revoir!.............. <cheers>

Trouble with that is, Phil, can you just imagine the stick we'd get if we went into a bad losing run or lost to a team that we were supposed to hammer? As it happens, I think the Barca strip is one smart piece of kit but I really don't want the hassle of wading through the sh one t we'd get every time we didn't perform.
