Through most people the general idea is that we will get automatics/play-offs and many people will be dissapointed if we do not acieve this, i feel we will actualy do much of the same again this season as we did last, what you have to remember is that the we have only been in the premiership for two seasons and i am as eager as any other fan to get there, but it will take at least another 2 seasons (including the up-coming one) to get back and to build a team that will stay in the Prem imo, i just feel we shouldn't be dissapointed with were we finish next year and i fear many people will get on Big Nige's back, just let him do his thing and i am confident he will get us there soon UTT
I agree with what you said, would be delighted with promotion next season but by the same token won't hold it a disaster if we don't. I would however like to see us make some progress from last year, an improvement on the home has to be a priority and hopefully an improvement on league position. I'd like to see us stick by NP as well to continue building for the future. Unless we have a very poor season i expect him too be here next season.
Too early too call as we have not been very active in the transfer market. Currently we do not have a strike force of much strength so heaven forbid that Fryatt gets injured as we would be cactus. Couple of months of activity yet so I am hoping for some good signings especially up front.
If we'd never got promoted, we'd all be ecstatic with the way the clubs performing at the min. Premier League just made us greedy.. as long as the footballs good and entertaining, we're not whipping boys and we keep ourselves with something to play for right til the last day, I will be happy.
