I said ages ago Spurs fling with Europe was a fluke and nobody believed me.
I said that the next time Spurs finish above Liverpool, there will be day trips to the moon.I was called idiotic.
I was told ''But Spurs are better than you, they have a better squad than you and there is five teams better than you''.
Okay most of this came from Swarbs.
Well guess what. We've spent £130 million net less than Spurs and it just proves that Harry ''the media love my potato head'' Redknapp is tactically inept. After we've had our worst season in 50 years and have not invested sufficiently in our squad since 2008.We're going to finish above them.
    Well guess what......
When our new owners flex their muscles. We won't have to worry about Spurs...We're aiming for more much more. Its Man Uniteds throat we're after and we intend slitting it.

Benitez was put under intense media pressure and was sacked for getting a lower points total than arry will be able to manage this season.

The English meeja are a bunch of xenophobes.
And they change their mind more often than the irish weather.Last year they were creaming all over Roy Hodgson. Now its Harry ''Triffic'' Redknapps turn.
As far as I'm concerned the last decent English manager was Howard Kendall in the late 80s,and his success was short-lived.Bob Paisley is overall the greatest English manager ever, and statistically the most successful ever. Some people may say Ferguson is,but Bob only managed for 9 seasons and won 13 major honours. That is something that will never be surpassed.

Benitez qualified for the Europa League as well! I'd be more worried about my players rather than Wheeler Dealer Harry if I was Spurs fans. If we beat them at the weekend there'll won't even be the Channel 5 cup for them to get excited about <laugh> They look like they have some more injury problems as well with both Palacios and Gallas coming off tonight

What will be the reaction from Bale, Modric, VDV, etc...

What will old 'Arry's excuse be?
He was ''hugely confident'' that Spurs would be in the champions league next season.
I remember Rafa getting roasted for proclaiming that Liverpool would finish top 4 last season?
Why hasn't 'Arry being roasted when its unlikely they'll make Europe next season.
Now he's come up the with ''Man City have spent more than us'',they'll buy until they win the title.''
    Now thats pathetic.
He may not have to worry about managing Spurs in Europe at all seeing as he's been a naughty boy.But I better not go into that.

I love the fact that Spurs will finish with less points this season then we did last season, I want us to finish this season with more points then last to show there is still progression regardless of the sillyness Hodgson brought to the club.

I can't wait for next season

The most positive thing and this may seem strange as I never thought it actually existed is that we cannot be considered a ''two man team''.
Secondly, look at the number of players that are getting into the box.Now this is a simple thing that Kenny has changed.Hodgsons formation was a 4-4-1-1.
With two players in the box(sometimes 1).Now how are you expected to score goals without numbers in and around the opposition penalty area?Too many players and this was mention by the ''Saint'' on LFCTV were behind the play.
Now this is rediculous. Now I'm no expert, but the Liverpool way has always been passing and movement. This seems to have returned. No dwelling on the ball,no more than two touches and then it zips around.
When you lose it, you ensure you get it back.Okay we do need new signings as things aren't perfect and its still a work in progress. But I was encouraged by what Steven Gerrard said monday before the game,He said ''the lads looked sharp in training''.
Now maybe he knew that Liverpool were equiped to put on a performance like that, but obviously like the rest of us expect 3 goals in 15 minutes, now that would be mad. However I do believe that from what he seen,he did expect a win.
If this level of confidence can be carried into next season plus a few additions,I firmly believe and I'm not boasting that not just anything but everything is possible.
Maybe the motivation to knock Man United off their ****ing perch will see Liverpool do just that to ensure that when they did knock Liverpool off theirs it was indeed a fluke. As there is no hope of Man United holding the lead for 33 years.
