hi all posted this last night but seems to have got lost!
does anyone have any idears how many of the current squad will be going back to their own clubs at the end of this season eg loan players, and how many are out of contract and could possibly be leaving (nugent is rumoured to be one)
is there any players out on loan who can come back?
i think all pompey fans would have settled for the current league position back in august
so i think cotteral deserves alot of praise for what he has done
if we can get a new owner and some players who want to play for the club instead of the wage packet and keep the manager i think the future could be bright
also does anyone know what peter storey-maker is up to? how he managed to stay at the club for as long as he did amazes me, i think most of the clubs problems were down to him and its a pity he just walked away and has never fully explained his actions

He may have walked away but with luck justice is just around the corner for him and his cronies.

Must admit that you have done a whole heap better than I and a few others thought that you would this season.

Have I got it right, that Pompey need to reduce their wage bill next season under the CVA? Doesn't that apply even if you get s new owner? Can't say that I follow the legal details, but if that were the case, it would make life a bit more difficult.

That shouldn't be to difficult Channon. Once the loanees go back and contracts run out, we'll be left with 8 or 9 player on our bill. I think this is them:
Ashdown, Mokoena, Joel Ward ( have to keep him), Ricardo Rocha ( ditto Joel ward), Hayden Mullins, Liam Lawrence, Dave Kitson, Kanu. I think thats all of them cos I'm not sure when Hreidasson's contract runs out. On first impressions, we have the base of a decent championship side especially with Ward and Rocha who IMO are both Premiership class, but Mr Cotterill is going to have to be very busy and thrifty in the transfer market. My first plan would be to offer Zoltan Gera a contract as his runs out at the end of this season. Its a long shot but you never know.
