Literally CANNOT wait for it, under Mick he's got us defending ( when does that happen! ) tough to beat ( likewise ! ) very good at home ( been a while! )

What can we achieve next season, what areas do we need to address, who should we let go!?!?

Achieve- I see no reason why we cannot challenge throughout the entire season for the playoffs. Not necessarily be top 6, however, I think McCarthy can give us SEASON where we are relatively consistently decent ( perhaps similar to 07/08 ending up just shy, without the win every home game lose every away ! )

Need to address - Goal scorer. Nouble I think will be a cracking addition, however Chopra ( wages ) and others I'm not sure about. McGoldrick if he ends up coming would be a start, however I feel we're one short if not two.

Leave - Martin. If you're actually on the reported £12k a week, we cannot justify them wages. If you want to stay, half the wages.....

Wordsworth could be the playmaker we're lacking - I'm actually rather delighted at the squad Mick is building..... JET is the enigma. Can next season be the one where he is classy ( thinking a not so good version of Taraabt when QPR won the title ),,,,,,,, or,,,,,,,,is he going to not deliver!?

On a side note, I hope season ticket sales are slightly up, and the day supporters return more often. I live in Bristol, so generally simply do away games, however this has been my lowest total of Ipswich games in my entire time as a fan. Bristol City away, Villa away ( in the home end ) and Birmingham away which from my perspective is terrible !!!!

MM has done an awesome job. Decent bloke though he was, we would have gone down if PJ had stayed, particularly given the bonkers state of the division this year. 56 points with 3 games to go and not mathematically safe is unbelievable. I hope he signs Stearman permanently, replaces Martin with some pace, finds another front line striker and gets Marriott involved as we need to get some more youth coming through.
