I know the paint has only just dried on this season, but I'm looking ahead to see who will finish where next season.

It's hard to look beyond the top 8 finishing in the same places again, so my top third would be:

Man City, Man Utd, Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton & Liverpool (but not necessarily in that order).

For my mid-table teams I'm going for:

    Fulham - a classy mid-table team.
Swansea & Norwich - to continue where they left off this season.
Wigan - suddenly seem to know where it's at.
Reading & Southampton - got a hunch they're going to do well as newly-promoted teams.

The relegation candidates (a bit controversial perhaps):

Sunderland - the MON factor has worn off, looking increasingly less impressive.
Stoke - ugly team that will struggle.
WBA - with Hodgson gone they won't do as well as this season.
QPR - they may spend but they've still got a lot of sorting out to do.
Aston Villa - another miserable season to follow this one.
West Ham/Blackpool - neither good enough to stay up.

All pure speculation, of course, but these things have to be done...:)

yeah but the bookies have it all based upon historical trends with newly promoted teams and second season syndrome.... nothing to do with the team or knowledge...
