I'm in a bit of a quandary. Ive got a season pass but I'm unsure whether or not to renew it?
The problem is, I enjoy coming "home" to Hull and seeing my mates etc but its costing around £50 in petrol, £20 for food/drink etc and that's without even adding in the season pass and it works out around £80-90 a game.

Also, I really love away games! The full day's are brilliant despite the result! I love them!

Now I've done some research and if I go by train to just away games it saves me a small fortune!
Even more if (when) Wolves come down and hopefully Villa along with the Sheffield clubs coming up.
Does anyone know when the renewal forms come out so I can put myself out of misery?

The renewal forms went out late April last season, so will probably be out in the next week or so, I understand they'll be about 10% higher(but that's only from another board).

Well I am looking at doing more away days by train next season. For example Millwall cost me £20 a head return per person as Mrs T booked them the day they came out. West Ham will only be £32 return each per person. So with Millwall, Palace and now Charlton confirmed london games and Watford next to a station and possibly West Ham and DQPR as well next season the train is a good option. On the plus side we should have 2 sheffield away days and 2 new lancs trips as well. Being an away fan next season will be easier on the pocket and mileage.

I for one wont miss trips to... Reading Southampton and Portsmouth for sure. It would be nice IF Brighton could nick the play-offs if only for travelling reasons.!!!

Can't see pass holders been too impressed with a 10% increase

If it means and helps get Nick the players he wants to improve the squad then so be it. 10% is nowt and not even a good night out. Ive not paid any extra for years. The price freeze could not last forever. Better players means pay a little more. A season ticket will still be great value. imo.

I have no problem with a 10 pcent price rise.
If NB is shown to have the backing and starts bringing in players and retain the ones he wants the I think the numbers of renewal will be high.
Anyway, I will be renewing mine.

Don't think he actually promised that, more like he said he'd like to see it to happen sometime. But if it's not beneficial for the club then he wouldn't do it.

I think when Allam mentioned a £10 ticket he was on about when the KC can hold 40,000 plus fans. Maybe £10 standing ticket would be the place to start at some point ?

Yes i think next season will be a good year IF Nick gets the players he wants to the club.!!!!

Something must be wrong there. It can't be £10 return from Leeds to Huddersfield so how come the total is £10 different?

I agree I get £6.10 between the two for an Offpeak return.

Depends whether you use Northern Rail or Transpennine Express, I imagine.

Generic ticket. As it's about £5 between Edinburgh and Dunfermline (which is a First route) I'd be amazed if either First (TPE) or Northern charged twice that amount for Hudd/Leeds but I'm not going to get drawn into a conversation about train tickets at this stage of the season. (No doubt when fixtures come out in June I'll be complaining about how much the August fixtures are going to cost me thanks to the cheap tickets being nicked by Olympic goers)

Yep! I thought that too. I was incredibly bored last night and decided to go on the Raileasy website to get all these prices and for each game I requested tickets to:
    A) get me to the town/city we were playing for 12:00-13:00 ish, and,
    B) to leave around 18:00
Allowing me some pre and post match pints.
Bollox to Huddersfield- its a ****hole and I only have bad memories of going there

I reckon we will lose about 2,000 season pass holders for next season.

I remember going there and stopping at a friend's house that 4-0 weekend. She's a Town fan and her old man and brother are City fans. By the end of the day she was the one getting annoyed by the after match banter because despite the scoreline they weren't great on the day, and we were above them in the table so combined with my 87 points target theory for promotion she couldn't actually get us wound up at all.

im having a similar debate about away direct, trying to save some cash up and was going to reduce the number of away games next year...
but ive been in it since it started, and im concerned if we go up, 6,000 will suddenly remember they like going away every week again and id be fighting for tickets...
probably just tick it anyway , have this debate every year and it always ends the same way...

It's been a while since I dropped my membership, does away direct cover every game we get advance tickets for, or just the ones that are all ticket?
