I reckon it'll look a little like this come may 4th 1. Birmingham 2. Blackburn 3. Bolton 4. Brentford 5. Brighton 6. Bristol City 7. Burnley 8. Cardiff 9. Charlton 10. Derby 11. Fulham 12. Huddersfield 13. Ipswich 14. Leeds 15. Leicester 16. Middlesbrough 17. Nottingham Forest 18. Preston 19. QPR 20. Reading 21. Rotherham 22. Sheffield Wednesday 23. Sheffield United 24. Wolves
I think Leicester may stay up - they have 7 games left, 5 of them at home: Home - Swansea, Chelsea, Newcastle, Southampton & QPR Away - Burnley & QPR
If one of the bottom 3 in the prem survive then I hope Sunderland come down and QPR stay up. You know if QPR came back down they'll go straight back up, plus they are a boring side! same applies to Hull.
next season if you are right shiny, it is going to be a real test MIDDS FLOREST WOLVES DERBY QPR HULL City need to aim for top ten
Most of the time when Sunderland come down they walk the league the next sesson, QPR limped back to the prem in the play offs last time and the time before they went down into the third before coming back up over a few years. So given the choice I would rather QPR came down.
**** that, Sunderland is a new ground! QPR WOULD! take up one of the top 6 places, as will Leicester, and yes you're right, Sunderland would probably do well but I can't see them walking it. I would have thought Fulham or Wigan would have been fighting at the top but both have been in a relegation scrap all season. The championship is a tougher league than the Prem overall. You know who your top 5/6 is every year in that league but you can't call it for the championship. We've got an incredibly tough fight on our hands just to stay up next year...
GULP When I scribbled my likely 2015 -16 championship on a bit of paper prior to this thread, I thought **** this is going to be tough we will need a striker, not where we would finish, that came next, a quick 1, 2 3 points likely from each team put a conservative estimate of 54 pts a look at this seasons table reduced it to 49 but will be hoping for 58 pts ! ALL will of course be revealed in the summer when we know who we play and WHEN!
If you mean they get a £40mill parachute you may well be right. They overspent by millions to gain promotion to the Prem. For me it's wrong and they should be punished. There's talk of a £58 mill fine IF they go down - I hope they start with minus 10 points a swell.
I am now thinking City and MKD plus ...? QPR Burnley and Hull far to tight to call the 3 championship teams going up, and perm 1 from 2 Rotherham and Millwall rather play Rotherham!
