A bit early perhaps to be discussing who is going to achieve what, as no transfers have taken place and the managerial merry-go-round is not in full swing, but as of today, who would you tip for.... PL Champions Relegation from the PL Championship Auto Spots Championship Play Offs Championship Relegation For me PL Champions - Chelsea Relegation from the PL - Burnley, West Brom, A.Villa Championship Auto Spots - Wigan, Reading Championship Play Offs - Derby, Norwich, Ipswich, Forest Championship Relegation - Birmingham, Charlton, Brentford
What you have put Thai is largely logical and difficult to argue with really, with the possible exception of Chelsea. I think for us I would probably settle for a play-off spot.
I feel if we are lower than 10th, then NA's tenure as manager cold be under threat. Also, the Board needs to ask themselves some SERIOUS questions as to who should be making the decisions going forward.
Well I would hope we would be serious contenders for automatic promotion, I see Fulham as being quite strong too, not so sure about Cardiff. I would be extemely disappointed if we are not in at least the top six at Christmas. P.S. I reckon Ipswich will struggle this year and are almost certainties for relegation
PL Champions - Chelsea Relegation from the PL - Burnley, West Brom, Swansea Championship Auto Spots - Wigan, Derby Championship Play Offs - Norwich, Fulham, Blackburn, Middlesbrough Championship Relegation - Rotherham, Huddersfield, Brentford One thing I do know is that it's going to be tough next season, we must take nothing for granted as there are some very useful sides we'll be coming up against and it's going to be far from easy. Just hope we have one of our 'lucky seasons' like we did last time we were in this division when everything goes for us rather than one like last year where everything went against us. I'd rather not have to rely on good luck and fortune, but over the course of a 46 game season with all the ups and downs we will encounter I'll take all the help we can get By the way who ran the prediction thread from last summer? Be good to dig that up and see just how wildly wrong most of us were about what was going to happen!
impossible to make a prediction at this time as so much will change, especially in the championship, but i think man city will begin to dominate the premier league now.
I wouldn't put it past them, just get a feeling Jose is going to be running a team of thoroughbreds this time round
I think you've got your predictions pretty spot on Thai. Wouldn't it just be great if we had the old farm derby at Wembley as the play off final match!
I don't think my ticker could take it TBH, the thought of losing a Wembley final to your lot fills me with dread. I'd have to lock myself away in a darkened room for six months ! No, I wouldn't want that at all Warky
PL Champions - Chelsea Relegation from the PL - Burnley, West Brom, Sunderland Championship Auto Spots - Reading, Fulham Championship Play Offs - Derby, Norwich, Wigan, Forest Championship Relegation - Birmingham, Rotherham, Brentford
Would be totally horrific Warky. I have not included Town in the play-offs to be nice btw, I admire the job Mick has done thus far and I see a chance of hitting the top 6 this time with a little more consistency or luck
Not impossible at all, in fact it's very easy to make a prediction at any time. It's the getting it right - or even slightly right - bit that it virtually impossible!
I really don't see why so many people are backing Fulham! The club is in a right mess and I think it will take them a couple of seasons to regroup and build again!
PL Champions - Man City Relegation from the PL - Burnley, West Brom, Swansea Championship Auto Spots - Wigan, Derby Championship Play Offs - Norwich, Ipswich, Blackburn, Middlesbrough Championship Relegation - Rotherham, Charlton, Brentford
Pretty similar set of predictions there fella, though knowing my form for this sort of thing we're probably both entirely wrong!
PL Champions - Man City Relegation from the PL - QPR, West Brom, Burnley Championship Auto Spots - Wigan, Norwich Championship Play Offs - Derby, Fulham, Brighton, Forest Championship Relegation - Rotherham, Charlton, Brentford
what i meant is that its difficult to make an informed prediction when you don't know how each side will look in august. last season my championship predictions weren't too far out overall but i did get one ludicrously wrong - i said burnley would go down! its a bizarre division that's for sure, incredibly difficult to predict. at this stage i would say cardiff look the strongest side to bounce straight back up, this is in spite of solskjaer rather than because of him. at this time i'd say both city and fulham would miss the play offs completely but that may well change by august.
