We have about 10,000 empty seats based on last night. We have a sold out Visitors section. We have several thousand verminous folk living within the HU postcode area, and lots of other spineless people who will buy tickets as 'favours' for people who want to see the game not as Home fans but as 'sleepers' in the Home areas. Hope I'm wrong, and that they don't get a chance to show their allegiance.
I think it's the one game we'll get a decent turn-out, not just because of who it is, but because we've sold a load of discounted tickets to the forces and emergency services.
Why cannot we just sell discounted tickets to anyone ? If last nights attempts to get a crowd in and generate some atmosphere are anything to go by then god help us. What have stilt walkers got to do with football ? I'm sure any parents with young kids would have preferred a few quid off the price of a ticket then a free foam hand or tacky little flag with 4 minutes past seven on it. The 'giveways' must have cost all of £20.
Sold or given? In a way it will be disappointing if we do sell out. As it will show the City isnt backing Hull City. This is just the game to kick start a struggling team shorn of belief and confidence. The fans really need to show some ****ing support. Abusing Sam clucas FFS. The kids nothing but effort and taking his opportunity well-yes he's struggling. But Bruce believes in him and he's not hiding. Back the ****ing kid and the rest of them.
Just what we need, maul TWS on St Georges Day! Add to their pain, buffoon manager in Evans, Cellino Out, the games afoot, follow your spirit, galvanising our support for the play offs. Do it for Hull City, England and St George!
Just goes to show the disillusionment with football and our club in particular, when they have to "give away" tickets for us v Leeds. Not too long ago there would have been pople queuing for them at the ticket office.........
NHS and emergency services earn a lot more than me. Also so do the Armed Forces. I ll have some £8 tickets please.
Indeed. {Broken record} If it weren't for the Allams bollocks there'd be at least one more bum on a seat. As in me. {/broken record} And what was that 200 free hot dogs about? For that, read: 'Hmm, there was never a problem getting into the KC before we introduced the scanning system. Heck, it caught us off guard too. We had to get the metal barriers out and get our stewards to guide fans toward the funnelling into the ground and everything! Okay, when City had 25,000 against Swansea in Div 3, there were no problems getting into the ground. But hey, ya know, it is what it is. So anyway... We're hoping to avoid any embarrassment now. We reckon the vast majority of a 15000 strong crowd will get to the kc early to claim one of 200 FREE hot dogs. Yup 200. The rest of you 14800 can **** off to Viking Fisheries for your snap. Earn your stripes. EARN YOUR HOTDOG!' ****ing ******s.
That's wrong OLM The discounted tickets were for last night and Brentford. Not L**ds They are £9, and you could buy 4 each, so presumably that's why last nights crowd was so full and noisy in the home end ?! Well recieved? Not many people seemed to know anything about it
Couldn't agree more I heard a bloke in the East stand scream at Elmo has he was taking a throwing just after Wolves had scored " he told him to ---- off", Elmo looked up and I thought that's done his confidence some good, yes we are struggling, yes we are all gutted the way we have lost it and yes we are frustrated at results and performances lately but surely now is a time for us all to back the team, we know automatics have gone there is nothing we can do about it now so lets hope the players gain the confidence back we had earlier in the season and the only way that is going to happen is better results which must be helped by backing not booing the players. I know its down to the players but the fans have a massive role to play
Just judging from this short threa it is impossible to do what everyone wold think to be the right thing. I would offer all season ticket holders up to four free/much reduced tickets on a first come, first served basis and see how they respond. they pay for the privilege.
