    The 2nd round is the W/C 26th August and of course we play Forest on the Sunday so guessing our tie will be Wednesday rather than the usual Tuesday.

    Preston v Blackpool was on Monday, and they both played Saturday. Also remember a few years ago when we had Swansea away in successive League and cup games. The league game was moved to the Sunday, but the FL said that the cup game couldn't be moved from the Tuesday.

    There is definitely something very bizarre going on with this fixture. It's not listed in the fixture lists on either of the club websites, or are there anything in the ticket purchasing areas on same websites. Shame they couldn't have done with this what they do in ice hockey and have matches double up as league and cup fixtures.
