Just for a little fun, which manager's are on your own shortlists? no silly suggestions such as Brendan or Pep just sensible ones please :)

    Here's my own

1: Jackie McNamara - Dundee United
Jackie McNamara has done wonders for Dundee United, he has shown the Dundonians fantastic football and also put faith in the academy, unearthing "baby Messi" Ryan Gauld and developing other decent players. Jackie has shown he's one of the best young managers in Europe and deserves a chance to do something much bigger.

    2: Leonardo - Unattached
Leonardo is always as ever an advocate of fluent & entertaining football, he speaks good English and has a strong mentality, He has coaching experience with both Milan clubs and also has contacts through his time as PSG director, although known to clash with others.

    3: Michael Laudrup - Unattached
He knows how to spot a player, he knows how to envigorate a player/team he has experience at big clubs, he knows all too well how to set out his team out to play Football the proper way, only his temperment is questioned.

4: Luis Enrique - Celta Vigo
Luis has had decent experience with Barcelona B, Roma and is now handsomely building on his reputation with Celta Vigo. He's an expert on the "tica-taca style" and is one of Football's best up & comers who is seen as a potential Barcelona manager.

5: Uwe Rosler - Wigan Athletic
Replaced Roberto Martinez at Wigan and has showed his undoubted talent and plenty of experience. The football has been brilliant, he has shown faith in the youngsters and has led Wigan to an F.A cup semi final. Although could use another club as a step to his dream job at the Etihad.

I would hammer my own feet in to interview this bunch :)

    I'd take:

    Moyes
    Laudrup
    Hyppia?
    Leonardo

No one mentioned Sean Dyche, works on a shoestring and worked miracles at Burnley with excellent coaching and team spirit- something we lack at the moment.

I live in bournemouth and follow the club closely. Eddie Howe is a top bloke and has got the cherries playing cracking football.

    Uwe Rosler
    Mauricio Pochettino
    Eddie Howe
    Remi Garde

The problem with these lists is that every time we add a name to it we can virtually guarantee that that is one more name struck off the list of people it will actually be.

I think we should seriously consider Mike Ashley..... He will save money on a manager and he will definitely get the best put of the playars!

Won't get many decent players willing to have Zero Hour Contracts. Although the SD Mug might entice them in I suppose.
