Harry Redknapp Alan Curbishley Gus Poyet A Shearer Ian Holloway Malky Mackay Mick Mccarthy Alex Mcleish Michael Laudrup Rafa Benitez Roberto Martinez Slaven Bilic D Deschamps Fabio Capello Gianfranco Zola Gordon Strachan Neil Warnock Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Paul Ince Pep Guardiola Thats the order with the lowest odds 1st. Id have or at least give the bolded ones a chance. Id not renew if the ones with the italics got the job.
I know I'm pretty much alone with this, at the moment, but I'm for sticking with MH. That's my colours nailed to the post!!!!
Maybe not the style but you can bet hed sort out the discipline at least and that alone would lead to better results.
You can't really compare him to Hughes, Capello wants stability at the back and then he builds from that. Hughes doesn't know what he wants.
Thats summed up by his buys, he gets all these attacking midfielders but then doesnt used a formation to player them and plays negatively. If youre going to play negatively, why not spend the money on defensive players?
Would like Martinez but we have no chance. Failing that, Benitez but if Hughes goes I fear it will be Curbishley. Paul Jewell's just come on the market
I know it is if's, but's and maybe's, but if Mbia hadn't kicked out and we had taken one of our three late chances, we wouldn't be having this conversation. Whilst I am not MH's greatest fan he can't control stupid sending offs and missed chances.
could u stop the jokes threads, we don't need a new manager, we need the players to do the job they're hired to do...
Mackie's chance was all individual skill, and that of Granero pretty much also. We don't make plays that include more than 3 players
and who do u think we could get as a new manager? And how many of backroom staff, coaching team, scouting team and so on and so on would leave with MH? Just saying we are stuck with him, atleast to jan, like it or not, and I personally think in that in Jan no1 wants to fire MH. If I'm wrong, kick me, but just my thoughts...
Mark Hughes, stick with him.We have had 4 years of managers and players in and out. I couldnt stand it all over again.
Martinez would be perfect...we've looked ok on occasions this season despite MH not because of any tactical genius - he still picks SWP...enough said
