Right lets not beat around the bush, I don't think Jewell can turn this around at all. I think he's got 4 games to save his job.

Who do you want next, and why?

Gotta be honest - I have literally no clue. That said, I think Gary Johnson would do well and we could get him from Yeovil. Generally got a good track record in the game too.

Roy Keane or Jim Magilton, both have a better track record than the current clown!!
    JEWELL OUT!!

McCarthy would be a good short term solution to our on field (and possibly off field) problems, would instil some grit and determination into the team and get average players doing the simple things well.

On a serious note, my Dad said that on radio Wales they said that Strachan was being lined up as a replacement for Jewell, OMG, FFS, WTF!!
I don't want an old school manager, i would like someone with different ideas, now if we could get someone like OGS then i would be overjoyed, has had a good few years learning his trade and has been doing great!

Right now Spanish, Mick would be great for getting things back to basics and grinding some results out. He could steady the ship whilst we search for the best possible long term replacement.

I'm not a praying man but...............I pray thats not true. Strachan is another ex player turned manager with a pretty bad track record
Mick McCarthy for a couple of years will do nicely. We (hopefully) can start winning ugly & he can at least install some grit & determination into the players. At present, we concede 1 & the players all start feeling sorry for themselves

WARKY mate, I honestly don't get your fascination with MM, the guy is an ok manager but is old school and has hardly set the world alight, personally can't stand the bloke and it would break my heart if he became Town manager, its like having a Smegson type manager for me!! The baby faced assasin is the man we need but i fear he may go to Blackburn, once again, another boat missed!! I thought we should have gone for Warnock but many didn't want him, he ain't doing a bad job at Leeds is he, another boat missed!!

I certainly don't want Strachan that's for sure.

Would Gary Megson be a disaster? I know the Norwich connections, however Royle worked out fine.... style of play not great, however gets results. Badly treated by last 2 clubs too.

No Warky i'm not having a laugh, if MM became town manager then i honestly think i would not bother with Town anymore, i feel that strongly!! TBH you harp on about MM and you call for Evans to go, i'm seriously worried about you, without Evans we are doomed and with MM we are doomed, short term fix maybe but long term...... We would go the same way as NI and Wolves, eventually, nowhere!!
If its to be MM then i say Jewell in!!

Spanish you realy don't know much about MM to realy have an objective comment! MM is in the mould of BFJ! He knows this league inside out and has got a proven CV in geting teams promoted out of this league. You keep moaning about our powder puff weaknesses and yet you want some namby-pamby wet behind the ears coach as the answer to our prayers. ****ing grow a pair mate! We need someone to instill grit, determination and never say die allied to proper tactics. It wont be pretty this year but staying in this league is all that matters!

Whats really annoying Warky is that every name mentioned by anyone else is ridiculed by yourself, you may try and shout others down but you ain't shouting me down bud!! Karl Robinson/OGS or anyone else of that ilk would be far better than your beloved MM!! Give me young and up and coming manager over old school anytime, i'm not talking only 1 yrs experience manager but 3/4 years experience younger manager and why only look at UK based managers?

Each to their own Spanish but I know who would be the best manager for us in the mess we find ourselves in! I would rather have an experienced guy than a wet behind the ears chinless wonder any day of the week. We should have signed Holloway when he came for the interview after Keane was sacked but we are where we are!

WOW Warky, your telling me to grow a pair!! You are the one that is calling for a loser to become our new manager, yes ultimately the guy has been sacked more than once, why???????????? Oh and HOW do you know far more about MM than me, what are you his rent boy or something because unless i'm mistaken you probably don't know any more than me!! Yes he is an arrogant, jumped up hard man type but he is hardly a tactical genius is he? Wow we can have a team of battling hard men that will survive in the championship but go no further, happy days, NOT!!
