I will do the job for £100 pound a week, the wife has volunteered to wash the kits and my dad will scount for free, is there anyone out there to help to cut the grass, i will sell our best players and bring in some of my unemployed mates on lower contracts. hopefully i will get on with the Allams and we will keep up next season. Does anyone think the Allams will be impressed with my plans and cv

The reason he didnt come in the first place was the Allams. He picked up the phone to Nigel.

At the time everyone was accusing Nigel of being greedy and I pointed out time and again it was not money but it was the prospect or working directly with Maguire and the Allams after Adam left that made him want out.

    To further his career?

There is a fully sovent championship team that finished 8th last season that is without a manager.

Could be a lot of interest and candidates for this job.

I don't think anyone would be that interested if our owners hadn't just shown a willingness to sack managers for nothing. Since they have now done just that I don't see any big-name managers wanting it.

Nash on CI thinks there's someone other than Davies who's in the running.

I got told the other day that Brownie has been telling people he has been offered a coaching role at a 'top club'.

I'm not for one minute suggesting it is us, more just for interest really.

I can't see Davies coming considering what happened at Derby and Forest - the reason he fell out with those boards was financial, and about him being not backed.

Isn't that what's happening here? I just can't understand why he would go back into what he's already had.

Whoever it is - they're going to demand finances - no one's going to come here to be relegated.

The only reason i can see Barmby been suspended is because we have a manager lined up, a proven one. I'm not saying i agree with the Allams on this as Barmby did well and i'm fuming that Adams got the sack, but if its a decent manager lined up and Barmby moves to assistant manager then i won't complain.

I can see the Allams chucking money at the team during the summer to sweeten the fans, bring on the £10m Negredo Deals!
