Liverpool U19s have been drawn to face Sporting Lisbon in the final 16 of the NextGen Series. The Reds will travel to Portugal for the tie, with the date of the fixture to be confirmed. Certainly wasn't the draw I was hoping for! They took us to pieces last season so it will be a massive challenge for the Under 19's.
Damn! Tough opponents but these are the teams we need to beat. In addition, hopefully we can spot another talent and poach them
yeah they need a right good hammering to take em down a peg or two... the fac tis the u18s level is way way too easy for our guys and they learn nothing.. a few hard games is good for them IMO.
tough tie, just hope we don't get a repeat of last season. hopefully this tex lad will give us a few hints on where their weaknesses are if any.
