Swiftly moving on from todays garbage. I didn't want wholesale changes as any team can have a bad game but when it's two hammerings in a row then a shake up is required.

The next game, my selection would look something like this.

    ----------------------- Pants ------------------------

    Matthews - O'Shea - Beadling - Van Aanholt

    --------------- M'Vila -- Cattermole ------------

    Watmore ----- Giaccherini ------- Lens -----

    ---------------------- Defoe ---------------------------

PVA is only there as no other options.

Aye pack the midfield (Y) ! We dont have the quality to play 3 uptop. Problem is mate we dont have a target man, defoe while a class poacher is not a lone striker. Fooked mate

If I was Dick I'd be on the phone to Reviellere groveling!!! We simply can't let the window close without signing some competition for PVA, it's madness.

On the assumption we bring noone in, I'd go...

    -------------------Pants---------------------
    Matthews----O'Shea---Coates---PVA
    --------------Catts---M'Vila----------------
    Watmore-------Larsson-----------Lens
    --------------------Graham-----------------

O'Shea and Coates worked well back end of last season so hope they can find that form again. We will be on the back foot massively here so don't think we can afford someone like Giacch in the middle - Seb will have to help with the donkey work. Watmore earned his shot.

Defoe can't play the lone striker role and I think Graham is the best option we have for that position. He also seems to give more for the team than most others.

Dick Malone. He's 68 now but would probably still do a better job than the mugs we have at the minute!
