Is it all the defence or are we back to the issue that 4-4-2 just leaves us too weak defensively? I think it is great that Del wants to put more attacking players on the pitch but if it leaves us open to letting in more than we score then maybe we need to be less gung-ho? Posh is now a big game - if we win it then things will look OK but a defeat will leave us not far clear of the bottom group.
3 goals against a team featuring the likes of Nuno Gomes that were rubbing shoulders with Man U and Chelsea last season isn't too bad, but conceding silly goals needs to stop and quickly. The one thing to remember I'd like Angelic says, they are still much a premiership team. There won't be a lot better down the gate this year. And in previous seasons we would of crumbled. The score was against us but I felt we held our own against them.
Fonts and carry didn't have the best of games, neither did the middle 2 of the midfield, Taylor looked lost and we looked better with baldock on, a defender is needed asap, woolford went missing for much of the game and maybe Anderson should of been brought on at 2-2, mcinnes has a lot to think about for the boro game, a new back 2 would be a start
