Personally I think they are a bit unlucky to lose Moyes and like at Utd, whoever comes in is going to have a tough job replicating - let alone improving on what the last manager did.

So who might come in at Everton?

    Marin Jol
    Gus Poyet
    Roberto Martinez

    Somebody else ?

Poyet is a good shout especially with how things have broken down between him and the club.

When brighton lost to palace I thought he'd end up at everton.

Personally I would touch that job with a barge pole...it is gonna be very hard to better what moyes did and the fans may not be as patient as they were with moyes if they start the seadon poorly...especially if moyes get s off to a good start at united.

Howard Kendall was advocating for Duncan Ferguson to be Everton manager. I think he would drag Everton back down to mid table and probably bust a blood vessel in the process <laugh>

I think Bloomy wants Martinez down at Brighton, though I'm not sure why he would leave one championship side for another.
Gus signed a long term contract last year because Bloomy was expecting his man to move on and he wanted to secure some compensation when this happened, but I don't think Poyet has the right profile for Everton, I think they might prefer to go for Laudrup which would suit Swansea as I hear on decent authority the club have become tired of his laziness and despite him winning a trophy this year wouldn't been overly upset at losing him (and collect compensation).

I'd expect the Everton fans to show more patience than Utd fans will with Moyes.
Their expectations are very different, Everton know they're punching above their weight and won't be upset with a mid table finish whereas a trophyless season for Utd will probably see the sea of Norwich scarves back out again....

Neil Lennon is a similar sort of character to Moyes, not sure Martinez would be the best fit for the players they've got
