Looking at all the fixtures for the next 4 games, it shows just how critical it will be for us to hit the ground running.
Teams around us have some tough fixtures, with high probability of draws/losses for them. Dragging others down, while we have every chance of putting on the points in our next 4 games (with 3 of them at home).
Predictions for us and those around us?

    Mine are as follows:

    Team.........Pts....Pts next 4 games:................Total:
    Swansea....27............4...................................31
    W.Brom.....26............5...................................31
    QPR..........21............10..................................31
    Foolham....28............2....................................30
    Norwich.....29............1....................................30
    Bolton.......18............4....................................24
    Blkburn......18............2...................................20
    Wolves.......18............1...................................19
    Wigan........15............3...................................18

    Your predictions??

I'll be over the moon if we can get 10 points from the next 4 games mate!! The new players need to gel, unfortunately, just at a time when we can pick up points from doable games!! I suspect it may be 7 points from the next 4 games, which I think I'd take tbh.

Think we can beat Wolves, draw at Blackburn

Fulham are unpredictable but on paper they're a good team.

Everton are beginning to play well - just beaten Man City

Realistically it will be 6 or 7, unless our new-crafted team can hit the ground running, big-time

Your right SW the teams around us have a very interesting February, If we can put on 10 points we will nearly be safe unfortunately i'm not quite as positive as you, my predictions were as follows

    Team.........Pts....Pts next 4 games:................Total:
    Norwich.....29............5....................... .............34
    Swansea....27............7........................ ...........34
    Foolham....28............5........................ ............33
    W.Brom.....26............3........................ ...........29
    QPR..........21............4..................... .............25
    Blkburn......18............4...................... .............22
    Bolton.......18............3...................... ..............21
    Wolves.......18............2...................... .............20
    Wigan........15............2...................... .............17

Basically not a lot has changed and we will be fast approaching squeeky bum time.... ( i do think my QPR prediction of 1 win and a draw from the next 4 is hopefully the worst case senario but even if we turn one of my predicted losses into a win i can't see it affecting our league postion by the end of Feb)

We can beat all of them IMO. Wolves should be a win, Fulham's tough but surely we have a chance, same with Everton, and Blackburn certainly isn't beyond us.

    Good thread SW <ok>

I see us winning two at home and drawing one with a draw at Blackburn as well.

    Team.........Pts....Pts next 4 games:................Total:
    Foolham....28............5........................ ............33
    Norwich.....29............4....................... ............33
    Swansea....27............4........................ ...........31
    W.Brom.....26............5........................ ...........31
    QPR..........21............8..................... ..............29
    Bolton.......18............3...................... ..............23
    Wolves.......18...........5...................... .............23
    Blkburn......18............2...................... .............20
    Wigan........15............3...................... .............18

Something like this, if offered to me now I would take it.

We will need to get at least 10 points from these four games... or we will have an uphill task for the remainder of the season (unless MH really makes us into a top 10 class of team by then). The run-in is rally tough and these games could define our season!

A realistic target is 7 points from these 4 games. That would be enough to keep us top of our mini-league of 5 and most likely close the gap on the group above. This season is all about topping that group of five, anything more is a bonus.

I really want us to finish above Fulham. And Norwich. And Chelsea ( but prepared to wait a season for this).

Norwich & Swansea to slip up with the games theyve got coming up. I still reckon one of them could end up in the bottom 3.

If we lose this weekend to Bolton I can promise there will be many worried people in Norfolk, our following few games are likely to bring 0 points and then we are dragged in to the dog fight.

<peacedove>Its quite possible Thai and that has nothing to do with the fact that I can't bloody stand Norwich at the moment, smug 30 point mid table gits !

Anyway good luck and I hope Neil Warnock finally gets the job at Carrot Road after Lamberton gets intimate with Master Bates

We'll throw Rowan Vine in for free..<cheers>

    I accept that <ok>

We might have had a better 1st half of the season but it counts for very little unless we can find another 12 or so points from somewhere. We have some games at home that on paper we could win and if we do, in theory we will be safe but it is not being taken for granted I can assure you.

Anyway good luck and I hope Neil Warnock finally gets the job at Carrot Road after Lamberton gets intimate with Master Bates <laugh> Not in a million years! - runs off to hide just in case it does.
