I'm sorry, but what you said there is completely without substance Edit, when I posted this there was no poll...
aye sorry about that.. wasnt sure how to post a poll.. all sorted now. curious to see who's our most popular choice.
Should we not wait for our current manager to be officially sacked before we start polling the new one? I realise he almost certainly will be sacked today, but I'd rather we were polling after it happened.
But as its a certainty he'll be sacked, why wait for the body to go cold? The king is dead, long live the king!
I know last time I said Joyce, but this time I think Solskjaer if he's available would be a better option. Same Man U connections, but can you imagine how favourable our treatment will be at Old Trafford would be if we got the player who's goal won them the European Cup managing us, and the person he had as his assistant manager of Man U reserves still there wanting to return the compliment (plus his history here).
I don't understand why some people are constantly ridiculing Davies. He's actually got a very good record - unless I'm missing something. My vote still goes to McCarthy.
Unfortunately as it seems inevitable that NB will be sacked, I've gone for McCarthy. Vast experience in our division and the Premier League as well as at international level. I would have liked Mick to come in and have Nicky as his assistant.
I don't know why Ole Gunnar Solskjær always gets mentioned when we're looking at managers. He has no connection with us other than that we have a lot of ex Man U kids. I think he is currently the manager of Molde in the Norwegian second division and as far as I've noticed he hasn't been mentioned for any recent managerial positions in this country. Is that because we are the only ones that rate him or because he's happy where he is? Either way he seems like more of a long shot than anyone else on the list.
I've gone for Joyce although I do like him & was there when he came the first time, I just hate to see people who I rate highly get screwed over & sacked & then everyone hating them. Still that's life as a football manager I guess.
I originally thought that but it would distort the results too much, and based on what you've said, it isn't happening.
Mad Mick for me too, but would love to see Lil Nick as assistant, hey we can all hope, even if it is forlorn hope
