I was bored at work so went on the premier league predictor, I was quite unbiased on my results. Our next 9 games are as follows and the points I think we will get, we have played 9 so far and we have won 5 and drew 4.

    Stoke (a) 1
    Everton (h) 3
    Man c (a) 0
    Man u (a) 0
    Chelsea (h) 1
    Norwich (a) 3
    Swansea (h) 3
    West brom (h) 3
    Bolton (a) 1

All in all that 4 wins 3 draws and 2 defeats. 15 points so that would take us to 34, I have not been to un realistic with my predictions and think we have a good chance, on the predictor this left us in 5th place. We would then play liverpool then man utd but I feel it will stand us in good stead with the points we have to push for a top 7 by end of the season.
    Thoughts?

    I'd defo take that.

The problem is that for every game (bar Man U, City and Chelsea), we could win, lose or draw very easily. Lets just hope that Pards has put some un-Newcastle consistency in the lads...

Good realistic results there, if we keep up our form and nobody gets too knocked for six if we get hammered by one of the Manchesters then that would be a sweet position to find ourselves in in 9 games time.

If after the next 5 games (especially with the Manchester teams and Chelsea) we still have a positive goal difference then I'll be very happy.

Don't want to look to far into the future though and quite happy to take it a game at a time.

Can we pin one of these prediction threads? If you search theres about 14 different 'next 6 games', 'next 8 games' etc threads and we're still in the middle of half of them. With one pinned one we can actually look back at how we've done, I've no doubt most of us have posted in each one with different scores...

I'm sure we're all happy to take it game at a time, but there's no harm in drooling over what could be every so often!

Was going to say this myself. By no means a guaranteed three points. Wouldn't surprise me if it was similar to the QPR match and they're all over us (although we are much sharper and fitter now).

Agree with all of these except I think we will draw at Norwich. Hard place to go

Stoke away is regarded as a tough fixture these days (but at least you're not playing them on a tuesday night in January - that seems to be the benchmark test for all teams in the premier league for some reason). But Newcastle have a resolve about them this season that is, for me, more impressive than what I've seen from Stoke in the last few years. So I reckon Stoke-Newcastle will be a cracking fixture on Monday.

Can see you beating one of Chelsea, United, or City, more than I can see you losing to all three. As a City fan, I hope you trounce United and Chelsea.
