Hull v Preston 3-0 Ipswich v Hull 1-2 Derby v Hull 0-1 Hull v Cardiff 2-2 Forest v Hull 1-0 Hull v Burnley 2-1 What are your point predictions we will pick up from the next 6 games, my predictions are 13/18 pts without trying to be too optimistic. I also think if we follow these results we shall be up there in the top 6. Everyone elses thoughts?
Ten points, such a shame we had a slow start because of all the financial issues, or we would be right up there. Automatic promotion for me next year UTT!
in the first three games ipswich are picking up form, derby seem well out of sortsl. so 7 out of 9 would do me. 6 might be more realistic.
Hi, first time post so be gentle with me..... I used to read all of the 606 posts and just want to say thanks to OLM, I live down near Boston and don't get the local gossip or the daily flail so its great to pick up the sn ippets... First 3 should be ok and agree we should be able to pick up 3 points from each of them but I wouldn't bet against JB nicking one against us out of spite! Cardiff could be tricky away but if we carry on with the momentum we have we are in with another good shout. Forest have not convinced me that they are any better than when we played them earlier on in the season but they do keep getting the results. If we get through that one too then I am sure that we will be up there in the top six and our 'stealthy' run and our cover will be blown. Having said that, I will be happy for that senario....
There'll be some clause preventing him from playing against us .We don't want another Olof scenario now do we ? The only reason he could play was so we could play big Tone, unless something very strange has happened the frizzy haired tit won't be playing against us. On that note did anyone see his barnet on the FL show ? Looked a proper dick, all tight nit perm ala David Hasselhoff.
The original poster's prediction of 13 would be fantastic. That would leave us on 55 points with 10 games to go. I think we'll brush aside Browny's Preston at the weekend, even though I have a great deal of sympathy for them. Ipswich away will be tough and a draw there would be a good result. Derby are in rotten form and I think we will pick up a win there. As for Burnley, Forest and Cardiff I wouldn't like to predict how they would turn out. I'll say 4 points from them 3. Noticed how we are now predicting wins away left right and centre. Before the win at Norwich good away form was unthinkable
When the Bullard loan deal was signed AP came out in the press and stated that he would not be allowed to play the fixture, as for the next six games, Preston should be 3 points, Ipswich as posters have said are in a good run of form, but without the Bullard influence who knows, I would be happy with a point there. Derby I can see us winning. I can see Cardiff doing us over, just got a horrible feeeling about Bellamy, again in my view I think a point wouldn`t damage us. Forest in my opinion may be an easier game then Cardiff in certain ways, again a point would be good but got a sneaky feeling we may turn them over, and I believe we`ll turn Burnley over here. The mood in the camp is good, and the lads will be buoyed by finally giving someone a thumping.
Hull v Preston 2-0 Ipswich v Hull 1-2 Derby v Hull 0-1 Hull v Cardiff 2-2 Forest v Hull 1-1 Hull v Burnley 2-0 I think that would be a good enough return from these games and tbh i think if we get that we will be up there, and we just need to keep going and keep the points coming. UTT!
7 is my guess, always the optomist. No make that 10, Forest away will be a strolll. Last time I went to Forest to see the mighty tigers we came away with all three points. I would expect all the Forest away tickets will get snapped up pretty quickly, does anyone have an idea what our allocation will be?
Theres only one comment to all this prediction crap. We'll take each game as it comes. Preston next and a chance to build up some more confidence in the attacking department. I think we can beat anyone, when we start to believe it ourselves. Just hope we do start to believe before we leave it to late.
The lads are starting to gel a lot quicker than I thought they would and are now a real force to be reckoned with in this division. How lucky are we to have NP at the helm. Where are all the fox fans now who reckoned we'd bought a pup in MF, someone who was good in Div 1 but useless in the Championship...hah. As for the next 6 games, have to go optimistically with 13 points, a defeat v Cardiff and a draw v Forest, gonna feel a little bit sorry for Brownie and Ash on Saturday but, like AP says, no room for sentiment!
