next 6 games, in my humble opinion, may have a huge impact.

    Villa (H) 3
    Blackburn (A) 1 but realistcally 3
    Fulham (H) 3
    Newcastle (A) 0
    Everton (A) 0
    QPR (H) 3

going 10, am i optimistic or being a pessimist?

we'll do very well to take all 3 points from villa, the next 3 games will tell us what we're about, 3 seasoned prem teams, if we come out of that undefeated we'll have a good chance of staying up i think.

I think you will find Blackburn will be not so easy and you may well come away with 0.
Villa at home, a possible win but my money would be on a draw. If their forward line played as they did against us, likely win for Villa I would say.

I'd agree with Thai on the Blackburn and Villa games. It's become a bit of a cliche, but Blackburn are playing much better than their results suggest. However, I quite fancy you for the Everton game, can see you taking all three points.

Villa are a good side & no mugs. I think we`ll be very lucky to get a win, a draw more likely.

Blackburn are knocking in a lot of goals, again can play well, tricky one this, going for a draw.

Fulham are weird, superb then rubbish, got to go for a win.

Newcastle, no chance there to me.

Everton, again a team that can be on top form, going for a draw.

QPR have surprised me so far, the shenanigans at the start of the season saw them in disarray & almost certain to go down. Since this takeover thing they`ve got themselves together & now seem to be the strongest of the three. Going for a draw but hoping for a win.

That makes a total of 9 points, hoping for more, not less.

We can beat any of these teams and if we play like we did against Liverpool and ManU (without the first half awestruck mode) we could walk away with maximum points. In reality, not likely to happen, but I am not worried about competing against any of these teams. They should be just as worried about playing us. The toughest game is going to be Newcastle, another barometer of who we are, where we are, how we are adjusting to this level. We went into Anfield and came out with a point, a shade of luck here and there could have been three - I see Newcastle going the same way.

SS99, you were on a high after the Man Utd game but now you've gone all negative again - over everything. Reason?

villa are a good counter attacking team who can hit you on the break with the pace of bent and agbonlahor, blackburn are fighting for their lives and will be targetting you at home, fulham are crap away so i can see a swansea win there, and also i can see 3 points vs QPR.

newcastle, well you may be playing them at a good time, they'll probably lose their next two games against man u and chelsea (?), whereas everton lack firepower, i can see you getting at least a point out of those 2 <ok>

i can see the Villa game being a draw but I have a sneaky feeling we will get something at Everton. 9 points is a minimum target and I agree if we can get 7 points from the next three then Bob's your mothers brother :)

i wouldnt get too big headed, the only reason you arent relegation certainties is the injection of cash by tony fernandes, if he didnt come along you'd be getting thumped 4-0 every week, like you lost against bolton <ok>

It's my view we will get 3 points off Villa, Everton, and Fulham, but I think that the Blackburn game, could well be a tough one, they play some good football at the minute, and their position is decieving!.............

Here's my stab at the Dec fixtures.

Villa 3 (Will be difficult I know) Probably a point will be the outcome but ever the optimist.
Blackburn 1 (Should get a point here, will be disappointed if we don't get something)
Fulham 3 (Keep Zamora quite and it's three points)
Newcastle 0 (Plan on going to this one, would love a better result than the last time I went, just can't see us getting anything, there a tidy team)
Everton 1 (Love to win this one and a mate of mine is a Toffee, can see us getting a point)
QPR 3 (I've asked Santa to make sure we get 3 point over Christmas especially against QPR)

If the results pan out like this, then it will be a VERY Happy Christmas.

Not bigheaded mate.Shows how well we did under the previous owners then don't it, because as you say would have been relegation certs under old regime, although we Rs aren't bigheaded so don't think it's job done yet.As for bolton , yep we played better than them in the 1st half and their cb scored a worldly, and the rest is history as they say, they'd probably stick 7/8 past you boys so might be best to stay where you are again!!:emoticon-0109-kiss:<ok>

So what's so special about 3 points v the Rs?
Who do you want to win tomorrow between the Rs and the yellow finches?
I know you couldn't careless but what would your preference be?
